Overview

Located on over seven miles of water frontage along the Delaware and Schuylkill Rivers, The Navy Yard offers beautiful waterfront setting with mature landscaping with century-old buildings. All of this combines to offer ample opportunities for lunchtime walks, jogging after work, or leisure activities.

The newly-created Crescent Park just within The Navy Yard's front gate offers quiet place for strolling, along with a putting green for those looking to improve their handicap. A second major park, League Island Park, is part of our new master plan, along with nearly $4 million in new projects that will increase the number of pocket parks, walking, biking and jogging paths.  At build out, The Navy Yard will have over 50 acres of open space and two miles of waterfront trail.

All of these recreational facilities and parks in and around The Navy Yard combine to offer growing opportunities for organized activities. We have partnered with the Philadelphia Sport and Social Club, which coordinates the organized sporting activity within The Navy Yard.
