Update on 4/1/14 at 2:00pm: Happy April Fools’ Day!
We are beyond excited to announce “Party on a Ship!” POAS! for short, is the first event of its kind in the nation. POAS! is an all-day food truck festival, followed by an evening concert series with an all-star music lineup. We’re still adding to the concert lineup, but confirmed artists to date include Philly-favorites Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff, and Hall and Oates, as well as Billy Idol, and for the first time in more than a decade, *NSYNC! Food trucks participating include some of Lunch Truck Lineup’s favorites, like BrazBQ, Cupcake Carnivale, GiGi & Big R’s, Mama’s Meatballs, Mucho Bueno, Pitruco Pizza, Sweetbox Cupcakes, Sum Pig, and Vernalicious. The festivities will be hosted rain or shine at The Navy Yard, and for the first time ever, the public will be able to board the ship to enjoy a summer day filled with food and entertainment!
Employees of The Navy Yard will receive one (1) free ticket, which includes a voucher for food and a bottle of water. Parking is free, but we encourage attendees to utilize The Navy Yard Shuttles to avoid traffic delays.
