In March 2017, Jefferson Health, Liberty Property Trust, and Synterra Partners announced plans for expanded services offered by Jefferson at the Navy Yard, by leasing additional space to open a 70,000-plus square-foot facility at Three Crescent Drive by early to mid-2018. Jefferson’s vision for the Navy Yard is to create a consumer-oriented healthcare destination located in a large, attractive, and highly accessible area for its patients in southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey.
In preparation for the expansion, construction has begun for the Three Crescent Drive Parking Deck. This project broke ground in late November 2017 and is expected to be complete in May 2018.
The Three Crescent Drive Parking Deck will be the first structured parking built at the Navy Yard. The parking deck will add one level of structured parking and expand existing on-grade parking to serve the companies in Three Crescent Drive and adjacent 150 Rouse Boulevard. The precast concrete structure will include a curtain walled elevator lobby, vertically landscaped green screen, vegetative green roof, and increase parking capacity from 332 spaces to 595 spaces.
