The Navy Yard’s property management team, CBRE, is charged with bringing a high level of attention, service, and direction to important operations required to sustain the Navy Yard’s momentum. A vital member of that team is Joe Goldschmidt, CBRE’s Operations Manager for the Navy Yard.
Joe’s primary duties are to oversee Navy Yard operations, which include landscaping, snow removal, and maintenance for buildings and streets. Additionally, Joe oversees tenant improvement projects and is PIDC’s primary contact for Navy Yard tenants. Coupled with those tasks, Joe is heavily involved in operationalizing Navy Yard events.
Recently, Joe has been recognized for his great achievements and awarded the CBRE Greater Philadelphia Asset Services Rising Star 2017 Award.
Prior to joining CBRE in 2017, Joe worked at Ferrandino & Son as the Market Manager, overseeing exterior operation programs in the Midwest marketplace. He managed a commercial portfolio of over 1500 properties and partnered with over 700 national suppliers to enhance services throughout the market.
Joe is a graduate of Saint Joseph’s University with a Bachelor’s in Food Marketing as well as a proud alumnus of Philadelphia’s Saint Joseph’s Prep. In his spare time, Joe enjoys playing hockey, cooking, and hiking with his chocolate lab, Lager.
