Visiting The Navy Yard
The Navy Yard is open for public visitation Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Get Directions») Outside of these hours, access is limited to tenants, their employees and guests. All visitors should enter via the main gate on Broad Street. Visitors are welcome to explore unrestricted areas of The Navy Yard campus, but the U.S. Navy strictly prohibits going aboard docked ships.
The Navy Yard provides free, convenient parking for all visitors, employees and businesses.
Transit and The Navy Yard Shuttle
The Navy Yard offers two free shuttle routes. For schedules and maps, please visit navyyard.org/shuttle
The Navy Yard Loop shuttle runs between AT&T Station and points throughout The Navy Yard.
The Center City Express shuttle runs between Center City (stop is located on 10th Street bween Market and Filbert Streets) and points throughout The Navy Yard.
On weekends and holidays, SEPTA's Route 17 bus line services The Navy Yard.
Staying at The Navy Yard
In early 2014, The Navy Yard welcomed the Courtyard Philadelphia South at The Navy Yard, the first hotel located on campus. The LEED certified Courtyard offers 172 rooms, conference/event space, and The Bistro: all-day dining, a Starbucks coffee shop, and evening bar.
