- The Navy Yard is managed and developed by the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC), Philadelphia's city-wide economic development corporation since 1958. Periodically, PIDC will make public portions of The Navy Yard available to non-profit and/or philanthropic organizations that are looking to host events, in accordance with its mission to develop and manage public and private resources that are used to leverage even greater investments from a diverse range of entities throughout all of Philadelphia's neighborhoods.
