Vincera Institute has relocated to Building 489 and has expanded to become a multi-service facility that has integrated top-flight specialties to create an aggregate approach to health and performance. Led by Dr. William C. Meyers, Vincera was previously located in Quarters M-1 since 2010, focusing on core injuries. Working with P&A Associates, Vincera developed and renovated the former USO building, located at 12th & Constitution Ave.

The Institute includes a physicians’ clinic, ambulatory surgery center, rehab and performance center, yoga studio, imaging, acupuncture, nutrition, and a café, all under one roof, offering The Navy Yard tenants new amenities and options!

Whether you are looking for a yoga or bootcamp class, needing to finally get that hip checked out, or wanting to start making better food choices, you can find it at Vincera Institute. The facility has on-site locker rooms and showers to make it easy to stop before or after work, or on a mid-day break. Vincera Institute includes:

Nava Yoga Center – Yoga center offering a full schedule of drop-in Vinyasa and Yin yoga classes, as well as specialized classes for beginners and athletes, yoga for healing, prenatal, and heated yoga.

The Galley Café – Local, organic, sustainable breakfast and lunch with gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options. All prepared foods made by Laura Ferro, certified Natural Chef and Holistic Health Coach at Vincera Institute.

Nourish and Nosh– Holistic health consulting and natural chef services for everyone from athletes, to busy professionals, to those with severe food allergies and health conditions.

Flat Rock Health – Integrated pain management, including acupuncture, osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM), and prolotherapy.

Vincera Rehab – Physical therapy, training, post-operative rehabilitation, and massage therapy. Also offering morning and evening bootcamp classes and personal fitness training.

Physicians Clinic at Vincera – Physicians’ Clinic made up of nationally recognized orthopedic surgeons, core muscle injuries specialist, sports medicine physicians, foot and ankle specialists, pain management specialists, and physiatrists.

Independence Imaging – Imaging facility using advanced imaging equipment and custom protocols to provide accurate diagnosing. Advanced diagnostic imaging includes Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Arthrography, and X-Ray.

Vincera Surgery Center – Outpatient surgery center that provides the best in surgical care, catering to patient comfort, safety, and privacy. All equipment and materials have been hand selected to align with patient safety and privacy, including equipment using reusable green technology.

Vincera Foundation – A foundation dedicated to improving athletic performance, health and fitness through core medical fellowships, research and education and by supporting programs that focus on athletics, health and fitness for Philadelphia inner-city youth.
