In March 2017, Jefferson Health, Liberty Property Trust, and Synterra Partners announced plans for expanded services offered by Jefferson at the Navy Yard, by leasing additional space to open a 70,000-plus square-foot facility at Three Crescent Drive by early to mid-2018. Jefferson’s vision for the Navy Yard is to create a consumer-oriented healthcare destination located in a large, attractive, and highly accessible area for its patients in southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey. Liberty Property Trust, which owns and manages more than 16 million square feet of office, flex and industrial space in the Greater Philadelphia region, together with its joint venture partner Synterra Partners, broke ground on its third Class A flex building in The Navy Yard Commerce Center (and its fifth flex building at The Navy Yard). The 75,000 square foot building located at 4000 S. 26th Street is 100% pre-leased and will be home to three international tenants when it is completed this December. Read more

Tasty Baking Company, manufacturer of beloved Philadelphia-made snacks, celebrated its 100th birthday yesterday at its bakery at The Navy Yard. The maker of Krimpets and Kandy Kakes honored the occasion by “Kaking Over” Philadelphia with 100 deliveries of Tastykakes to locations throughout the city to first responders and charities around the city. The City of Philadelphia also declared February 25th “Tastykake Day.”
RevZilla.com and PIDC are excited to announce the expansion of RevZilla’s headquarters at The Navy Yard! Just a year ago, the company moved into its state-of-the-art office, showroom, and warehouse headquarters at 4020 S. 26th Street in The Navy Yard Commerce Center, developed by Liberty Property Trust/Synterra Partners. Now, RevZilla will be adding additional warehouse space, a 65,000-square-foot building, which will become RevZilla’s new East Coast warehouse and fulfillment center.
The Navy Yard Commerce Center developer team Liberty Property Trust/Synterra Partners has started site work on its newest project in the Commerce Center. The building is designed by Environetics, and will offer 75,000 square feet of flex space, similar to the adjacent two flex buildings on 26th Street. Construction will begin in April 2014 and is expected to be complete in December 2014, which will mark the fourth building in the Commerce Center.
