The Navy Yard and Vincera Institute are pleased to welcome Alexander Poor, MD to the Vincera Institute’s physicians’ clinic. Dr. Poor specializes in minimally invasive surgery, and treatment for hernias and other related conditions. Dr. Poor earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and completed his residency in General Surgery under Dr. William Meyers at Drexel University College of Medicine. Read more

Dr. Jason Hartman and Dr. Catherine Liebman of Flat Rock Health are pleased to be joining the team at Vincera Institute. Combining Medical Acupuncture with Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM), they are able to diagnose and treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal complaints and provide comprehensive non-invasive musculoskeletal care.
Vincera Institute has relocated to Building 489 and has expanded to become a multi-service facility that has integrated top-flight specialties to create an aggregate approach to health and performance. Led by Dr. William C. Meyers, Vincera was previously located in Quarters M-1 since 2010, focusing on core injuries. Working with P&A Associates, Vincera developed and renovated the former USO building, located at 12th & Constitution Ave.
